Now it was time to take the flaps and ailerons off of the wings, install rivets in the hinge brackets, torque all the bolts, and re-install the wings using drilled bolts with castle nuts and cotter pins. This took four sessions and at one time had a gaggle of hangar rats helping to lift a flap into place.
