I decided to install the Dynon GPS module on the top of the Harness Support Tray as I saw it there in a photo on the users' forum saying it was the work of Angel at Progressive Aerodyne. I had wondered if having it under the fibreglass nose deck violated the instruction manual's directive not to block it from getting good satellite signals. But if Angel does it this way, that is good enough for me. I fabbed a little mounting plate of thin aluminum sheet stiffened with two pieces of 1" x 1/8" aluminum bar stock. I was careful to put a rubber grommet for the wires passing through the thin sheet. I love this short of task.
