With the delivery of another 100 AN3 washers in the mail from Aircraft Spruce I quickly used up one third of them as spacers on the rivets that secure the Upper Canopy Tracks to the Windshield Support. I then rivetted the assembly in place to the Windshield Tube, the Forward Root Support and the Mid Root Support - it was a tough job getting the large SB6-8 rivets into the tracks and the riveter head into position, but I persevered, finishing each off with a mallet, a punch and a swear word.
