To give myself a break from all the electrical wiring terminations and the fabric spraying today I rough installed the Centre Console. I have just the bare bones version of this (i.e. not upholstered) but I think it looks pretty darn good just as it is. The aluminum bottom part came in the kit all pre-fabricated just as shown in the first photo below. It fit in quite nicely except for a little bit of trimming needed at the the back bottom end of it to allow it to fit onto the Seat Belts attachment bolt and some trimming on the co-pilot side to clear the castle nut & cotter pin on the Throttle. At the front end I had to cut out a square of FRP from the top part to allow it to fit up under the Centre Dash Panel. I then cut the holes for and mounted the 25 amp Gear Actuators Circuit Breaker, the Gear Up/Down Switch & Lights and the e-Flaps Controller.
