On what a tangled web we weave... today I worked on roughly connecting the switches (Strobe, Nav, Cabin, Landing lights, plus the Light Dimmer, Cabin Heater, Electric Fuel Pump and Bilge Pump) that will mount in the centre of the Flight Deck plus the Ignition Switch and the Split Master Switch. Quite a mess of wire. I am doing all this now so that I better appreciate how they will be laid out on the Flight Deck and how many of them will connect back to the Harness Supportl Tray using a D-Sub terminal - this will require cutting the wires and soldering them to pins in the D-Sub.
