Brief Description:  Wings - Left Wing Poly-Brush spraying

To make the spraying of the wings more manageable I first rigged up a mechanism to allow them to be mounted to a column in the hangar and rotated like on a spit. This is much like how Steve and I put the wings' fabric on last summer. The exception being that the Root Tube is now mounted on the plane and is not available as the mounting spar, so I used wood instead.
In two days I got the two coats of Poly-Brush sprayed onto both sides of the Left Wing without any difficulty. I did take some time and pain to iron out bubbles and wrinkles in the fabric first and between coats. For persistent wrinkles I first softened them with MEK and I used reducer on a rag to rub out Poly-Brush runs. Not perfect by any means, but quite acceptable to me. Lindall from Missouri, who is building a Murphy Rebel and planning to fly it up to the Great Wet North next summer, stopped by the hangar and gave my work the thumbs up so my confidence is solid right now.
