Brief Description:  Engine Fuel Hoses installation

Between the Progressive Aerodyne manual and the Rotax engine manual I have been struggling to figure out what I really need to install for the fuel hose to the Engine Fuel Pump, the hoses to the Carburetors and the return hose to the Fuel Tank. Eventually I sorted it out, bought some fittings and extra hose and installed it all relatively quickly.
The supply hose from the Electric Fuel Pump (under the Turtle Deck) is 3/8" and the inlet to the Engine Fuel Pump (on the Engine) is 5/16". I ran a short length of 5/16" hose from the Engine Fuel Pump forward to an area under the Oil Reservoir at the front of the Engine. There I installed a 5/16" hose barb to female thread fitting. On the nearby end of the 3/8" hose from the Electric Fuel Pump I installed a mating fitting.
The Return Line is a simple 1/4" connection to the bottom of the Engine Fuel Pump. The feed line to the Carburetors required three short lengths of 1/4" hose with a 1/4" tee fitting in the middle. Voila... it is done.
Except there really should be Firesleeves installed on all the hoses that run close to the engine. So I have ordered some lengths of this from Aircraft Spruce, and clamps, to suit the 1/4" and 5/16" fuel hoses and the 1/2" oil hose (that runs closely under the engine).
