Just for a break (and a chance to work with the tiny little screwdrivers that I bought right at the start of this build but have yet to use) I decided to take apart the Air Speed Indicator and paste on the coloured speed range stickers. Boy, those four little screws that hold the guts inside the barrel of the ASI are hard to work with. I should have match marked them before disassembly as they only would screw back in once I figured out the original orientation. I fitted the ASI in the pre-cut hole into the aluminum Panel #4 (Co-pilot) that I purchased from SeareyCanada. I only have Panel #2 (Pilot), #3 (Centre) and #4. I need to order the #6-32x1" black countersunk screws and the instrument mounting nuts soon. Just for kicks I also mounted the magnetic compass into Panel #4. These "steam gauges", mounted in front of co-pilot, are redundant to the electronic ones in the Dynon Skyview D1000 EFIS that will be mounted directly in front of the pilot.
