What a bear of a job this was. You wouldn't think it would be from the photos below but there were a heck of lot of holes to drill, rivets to place and machine screws & Tinnerman nuts to install. That plus it was all done while lying on the concrete floor with the work surface just inches above my face. The most useful tool was the shop vac as I was continually wiggling out from my work position to clean up the aluminum drill shavings and rivet pins that I would otherwise be lying in. I didn't need to use any Aluminum Spacers between the Frame and the Shear Web as the manual suggested might be required and I totally ignored its instruction to install Spacers between the Aft Support and the Boom Tube Cover Angle. The old manual does not specify Spacers so the bolts used are AN3-11A. The new manual for some reason wants Spacers and a Washer on each side so AN3-14A bolts are required. I had no space to fit in the Spacers and couldn't see why they are required so ignored this instruction. The Splash Guard mounted just fine in the end.
