Brief Description:  Aileron Torque Tube

To complete all of Chapter 16, Aileron Torque Tube, didn't take too many hours but it was spread over 4 different days across two months.

I struggled for a while trying to get the Bell Cranks to slide inside the pre-drilled holes at each end of the Torque Tube before just taking it to a local machine shop to get the holes nicely reamed to size. I also had to wait for some AN3-13A bolts to arrive from Aircraft Spruce. Hangar gremlins must have filched the ones out of the stock that came with the kit.

I found that following the installation steps exactly as per the manual didn't work. Instead I first had to take out the Top Bearing, install the Tube into the Bottom Bearing, and then install the Top Bearing. Everything else was smooth sailing... er, flying.
