Brief Description: Flight Control Assembly - checking
Checking the Flight Control Tubes & Bell Cranks went quickly as there were not too many changes from the old manual and no requirement for additional or replacement parts, other than adding the occasional washer. My kit did not come with the Upholstered Boots for the Control Sticks and I do not intend to order them. Maybe I wil find someone who can sew me up some nice custom leather and thong ones later. The Tolsten Aircraft Grips CS-6/T also did not come with the kit but I had bought them when at Oshkosh 2015 and installed them now... look great! I note that the Tie-Rod Tubes now carry different part numbers than mine were identified with and are called up in the old manual. I drilled the #10 weep hole in the Elevator Push-Pull Tube as now instructed as it seems like a good idea, and probably came about because of someone's predicament.
