Brief Description:  Wings - Fabric

This weekend being Thanksgiving here in Canada (we just have to be different than our good neighbours (note the spelling) down south) I have had three free days to get the final fabric installation done. Winter is just around the corner and my plan for many months has been to get to this milestone before freezing temperatures close me down. I remember how difficult it was to glue the carpet into the hull in freezing temperatures last winter and am sure that Poly-Tak and Poly-Brush are not materials that apply well when solid.
As I did before with the Right Wing I made sure to grease the Aileron Toque Tube bearings and torque down the three bearings, retaining clips and Aileron Horn as I don't know what sort of access I will have later once the fabric is all on.
PA had quickly mailed me an extra 17' length of Stits Fabric when I requested it last week and I was able to install it and then tape and Poly-Brush (1st coat only) all surfaces of the Left Wing.
I know that you are supposed to use an iron at 250F to mould the Linear Tape around the curved edges but I have been happy to cut darts instead (2nd photo below).
