Brief Description:  Wings - Fabric

With the right wing frame lying horizontally, bottom surface up, in the Mark I Rotisserie Jig, Steve and l launched into its fabric covering. Everything went well up until step 4.2, which is cementing the fabric to the FRP Wing Tip surface. We bit off way more than we could chew... applying the Poly-Tak to the whole surface at once. The result was a mess of wrinkles and bubbles that the you can see in the first photo below... but we did a nice job of ironing the material over the edge and around the curve and cutting it.
In this first day of wing covering we were able to iron the bottom surface fabric in place, weigh it down (note in the third photo the boney hangar superintendent finally being useful) and glue it over the ribs.
