While I was busy trying to figure out how to do fabric covering Hardik disassembled the Root Frame that I had earlier build up to check for fit. Then I joined him to lift the Turtle Deck into position over the the hull. It fit really nicely for most of its length from forward going aft. However where the aft end fits down over the Boom Tube onto the foam strip the geometry just didn't seem right. The Turtle Deck curvature on the aft face has a much larger radius than the corresponding flange on the hull transom. Maybe the Turtle Deck has spread open when the hole was cut for the Boom Tube? Oh well, a challenge for another day... back to fabric covering while the summer weather allows.
