Brief Description:  Root Support Frame - temporary

I can't install the Turtle Deck because I am waiting for the government inspector to come and do the pre-cover inspection but I decided to move ahead and install the engine and wing support frame temporarily (Root Support Frame). That way I will be able to see how things fit together, if there are any missing parts and complete whatever work can be done that might be too difficult once the Turtle Deck is in place.
Everything moved along nicely, like working with a Meccano set. In step 22 a Channel Bracket is bolted to the Root Tube but no mention is made of using the pre-drilled holes in the bracket to install rivets as in step 9 for a similar bracket (hmmm... I will wait to final assembly to worry about this).
Step 15 calls for the stainless steel Spar Yoke to be inserted in the front of the Root Tube. Because I have linseed oiled the interior of the tube there is quite a tight fit here. I decided not to force it in as I would need a hydraulic press to get it out if something is wrong (another final assembly task).
My kit has the electric flap option so I skipped from step 17 to step 21 and installed the Electric Flap Actuator Horn, Flap Actuator and Tie Rod. Here I was stopped short because I don't have any more of the Eyebolt AN43B-04A. I know I used six of these in Section 29 for the Strut Assembly but the inventory sheet tells me I only had five to start with! Must have been a 'magic bullet' in the kit for the sixth one, but I need a seventh!
And there I have to stop until the pre-cover inspection is done and I can put the Turtle Deck into place.
