Brief Description: Empennage - checking before inspection
In preparing for the pre-cover inspection by the government inspector I am going over all the flying surface frames now, removing labels, cleaning the aluminum, checking & marking bolt torques, and signing off my manual page by page. Over the past three days I have completed the vertical fin, the rudder, the horizontal stabilizers and the elevators. The empennage is done! Well the portion up to covering is done at least.
