Brief Description: Final securing of frame to hull
Big milestone today... finally finished Section 5 "Installation of Airframe into Hull". First I finished off step 19 by riveting the two hull side reinforcement plates to the FRP hull and caulking all the potential water leakage points. Then I screwed the Bilge Pump and its removable plate into position per step 9 and secured the discharge hose to the Through Hull Connecter per step 36. Finally I torqued up the nine AN4 bolts that secure the frame to the hull stringers. Getting the socket with the torque meter onto the nuts under the rudder pedal area Floor Plan was problematic at first until I remembered I had a mirror on a handle with built in lights, and an extension bar for my ratchet.
