A new guy, Micheal, joined my ever expanding team of 'junior' aviation techs today to help install the Trailing Edge cuff to the starboard wing frame. There is lots of finicky measuring, drilling and riveting here which is good practice for the much bigger and more complicated job to come in installing the Leading Edge Cuff. Mike worked out how to cover up some damage I had done to the plywood Wing Inboard Rib some time ago when fitting it into place. As this wooden piece isn't structural I wasn't worried about it but wanting to get the Trailing Edge Cuff securely screwed into place led to Mike's not pretty but functional work in Photo 2.
