Brief Description: Building 16' long assembly table
It is clearly not artistry... not even craftsmanship... just something knocked together to just meet a need, using largely salvaged material. I have a sturdy bench inside my hangar workshop but don't have a long work surface, with the right height, width and length to assemble the various flying surface frames. I purchased four sets of sawhorse brackets and a few 8ft 2x4s. The rest of the 2x4 pieces, the top surface and the front stiffening panel all came from the original shipping crate along with a bunch of long and short screws. I cut the sawhorse legs to 32" so that I could get three out of each stud and to get a comfortable working height.
