I gave Hardik some instruction in identifying fasteners, how to use the air riveter and how I want him to follow the manual and check off the steps and then let him loose assembling the stabilizer frames. In 3 hours he completed one with a satisfied grin and a promise to come back another weekend and do the other one in a lot less time. He noted that the parts number given in the manual for the Stabilizer Leading Edge and the Stabilizer Trailing Edge don't match those in the inventory list and on the parts themselves. The correct numbers seem to be #5510-026 and #5510-027 respectively. Meanwhile I stripped apart pieces of the shipping crate, purchased some saw-horse clamps and started assembling a 16' long work bench. This I intend to place along the back wall in the main hangar section and use for large assemblies, such as the wings. The hours recorded here are Hardik's not mine, as my hangar improvements I do not count as aircraft build time.
