With the carpet now in the cockpit, the mating of the aluminum airframe into the FRP hull is not far away, and neither is spring... hooozaw! So with the carpet setting up I swapped the airframe out of the hangar middle bay and put the hull in, under the chainfall. I screwed four dolly wheels onto the second of the crate pallets (the first was already in use under the airframe) as a base for a movable support for the hull. Portions of 2x4s and 1x4s from the crate and a few of the hundreds of wood screws that held it together allowed me to fashion a crude but serviceable rig. Some of the blister pack that came with the crate ensured that the hull would not be scratched by the supports.
