Brief Description:  Rudder/Throttle assembly part 4

After talking to Glen down in Nelson, BC, I blazed ahead with installing the brake lever assembly onto the throttle handle base tube. I needed more room between the two bolts to accommodate the Matco Master Cylinder so took a guess and drilled a new 3/16" hole through the tube below the existing '2nd hole' to allow Step 24.3 to happen. Looked good until I tried to install the whole assembly and found that this AN3-13A bolt now interfered with another AN3-13A bolt to be installed in the '3rd hole' in Step 26.2. Hmmm... ok, so I 'machined' an elongated hole between the 2nd hole and my new hole. Now everything fit together real nice.
I now knew that I didn't have to swap out the supplied brake lever with a new lever part #7610-023 because my Matco Master Cylinder came with the new design lever already installed. Except the top was not drilled for the Brake Lever Knobs part #7610-022 so, no problem, just drilled a 1/4" hole for the stud part #7610-024.
