I was a little hesitant to start my first rivets, but once you get going...
The instructions really suck. Not real clear, and for a first time builder, that is not good. The written copy is clearly written by someone for whom English is a distant second language. The illustrations are not great, and references are scattered all over the manual without good refernces and some are inconsistent (in small ways so far, like the nose rib is facing different ways in different drawings).
On the horizontal stab, the front and rear longeron are required to have a left and a right, top and bottom. Rather than make it impossible to assemble them the wrong way, almost (important - ALMOST) all the holes line up. Also, it does not tell you during steps like putting on the first skins on the stab that you should not rivet in certain areas so that adjacent skins can also be riveted on a common edge.
Needless to say, I've drilled out a few rivets.
