I worked on the battery box today. I cut a piece of aluminum sheet and drilled lightening holes in it. I riveted the battery box to this sheet so that I could remove it from the firewall if needed. I thin drilled mounting holes in the corners of the aluminum sheet which allows me to bolt the sheet to the firewall.
