Today I had to fix a mistake on the FlyLEDs kit. Somehow I managed to solder the LED's on the wrong side of the boards. To fix this I had to de-solder all the LEDs and solder them to the other board. In the process of doing this I managed to strip off the mounting pads on one of the LEDs. I contacted the manufacturer and he told me to scrape off some of the paint and use a little bit of resistor wire to bridge the gap between the circuit path on the board and the leg of the LED. I did that and it worked perfectly!
