Tonight I cut, flared and ran the vent tube through the right fuel tank. Then I went to work on the fuel sender. I'm using float sensors. I bent the wire for the float and then cut it so that it would fit the notch in the fuel sender body. I then temporarily installed it in the cover plate and put the cover plate on the tank. It fit well. I also checked the fuel sender to make sure it works. It tested good. Finally, I ground down the nose of my blind rivet tool so that it would clear the Z brackets on the tank. Not a huge amount accomplished today but it feels good to do something.
