This is how I made the Canopy stay up tight against the roll bar and also along the fuselage. I drilled a hole in the 7106 top skin just in front of the Roll bar. Then I cut a line straigt up and to the reat towards the Roll bar. This allowed the Canopy to sneak behind the Skin holding it tight. This will all be filled in with the Fiberglass skirt.
