Brief Description:  Air intake vents

Since Sherri is away at my Neice Tressa's Wedding Shower, I have has alot of time to work on the plane. Today it's going to be in the 90's so I got an early start. It's now 11:30am and already in the mid 80's. Time to take a lunch break and take in some FOOTBALL. I finished up on the Vents that I started way back when. All I had done previously was cut out the mount brackets that hold the vents to the fuselage. I didn't like one of them so I re-cut another on. I mounted the panel and top forward skin and tightened all the screws so I knew where it would line up in the final position. As you see I purchase some nice aluminum vents because I heard nothing but bad things about the stock Vans ones leaking air when shut. These are real nice.

I fit the pieces together then put them up in place to see how much to trim.

Just like this. Trim a little then re-fit then trim again. Same old story.
