Brief Description:  Setting the Wing Incidence

To set the WIng incidence you must verify that the Fuselage is level. Level the fuselage Longitudinally and laterally using the top surface of the F-718 longerons between f-704 and F-705. Then square the wings with the fuselage. Do this by measuring from the same location on the rear fuselage back to the wing tips. This is to make sure you do not have any sweep on the wings. You check this by dropping 4 plumb bobs one on each wing tip and the others at the roots of the leading edge. Take a straightline and tape it to the floor to chekc your sweep. If any adjustments are needed you can still move the wings forward or back. I needed to trim the upper Rear spar a little to clear the rivet head on the fuselage. The plumb Bobs are almost right on the line now.
