The day started with a drive over to Chapter 1158 for my first Breakfast fly out. Today the group flew up to Crivitz. A small airport with a nice restaurant, I don't even remember the name but there was a nice breakfast buffet. There where 5 planes in all and I got my first ride in Jim's Cirrus. WOW, what a nice plane. I flew back with John Hohensee. John and his wife Linda own a very nice Grumman Tiger. We caught a 30 knot tail wind at 7500' and cruised at 165knots. Well back home to catch some NCAA basketball then out in the Garage for some work. Drilled a 1" hole in the center of the wing tip shear to mount the Strobe lights. Pretty straight forward. Two counter sunk screw holes in the fiber glass the Strobe gets mounted from the inside with a Rubber washer.
