I used the Scotch brite wheel to trim the Lense little by little till it fit the shear tip. I gotta say, taking my time on this payed off because it came out perfect. I then drilled the required holes at the corners (2) and also added two more further forward. This is the leading edge of the lense which looks like it needs another couple screw. I riveted the 4 nut plates in position and test fit the lense.

Added the nut plates and screwed it in place. Perfect fit. Now for the other side.
