Brief Description:  Continued Spar Box Assembly

Steps 3-12 from 03 and Steps 1-9 from 04. Final-drilled #20 holes in the upper spar horn into the spar box assembly and cleco'ed to hold. Match drilled #30 in the horn into the outboard horn attach angle. Cleco'ed HS-1232-1 horn doubler and WD-01208-1 Lower Horn to the fwd spar and HS-01211-1 spar cap. Clamped the horn to the horn attach angle. Final drilled the #20 holes and cleco'ed. Match drilled #30 in the horn to the outboard horn attach angle.

Clecoed the inboard HS-01233, clamped and match drilled through the outboard HS-01233 and horns. Final drilled #12 the cable attachment holes in horns. Marked orientation of horn doublers and horns and removed along with the inboard HS-01233. Deburred all the holes.

Final Drilled #30 all of the holes in the plate of both WD-1222 counterbalance brackets. Aligned both brackets to the spars and turned 90 degrees from the permanent position and cleco'ed to the spars.

Inserted WD-1223 Counterbalance Arm through the forward bracket and the spar box assembly, then into the aft bracket aligning the aft ends flush and clamped into position. Match drilled #30 four holes and cleco'ed. Final drilled #12 each bracket through the arm and out the other end.

Rotated arm and brackets 90 degrees into permanent position and marked the brackets in relation to the spars and arm. Removed the arm and brackets, removed spars from the spar cap assembly, deburred all holes and cleared away chips.

Riveted the hinge bracket assemblies to the HS-01202-1 Fwd Spar using 16 x LP4-3 rivets, Temporarily install the Hinge Stop hardware (AN3-12A, Bushing-AL.197X.313X.659, NAS1149F0363P, MS2104203) x 4. Riveted the forward WD-1222 Counterbalance Bracket to the fwd spar using 12x AN470AD4-5 rivets. Riveted aft WD-1222 Counterbalance Bracket to the aft spar using 12x AN470AD4-5 rivets.

Reassembled the Spar Box Assembly by cleco'ing the fwd spar, aft spar, and HS-01232-1 Horn Doublers to the Spar Cap Assembly. Riveted Figure 3 (9is/U-04) area using LP4-3 rivets.
