Brief Description:  Manifold Pressure Sensor

Installed the Dynon Manifold Pressure Sensor; not without difficulties. Where I placed the sensor device, in a good spot for its incoming plastic line, is not ideal. The left (pilot's) side by poor chance ended up right next to the corner reinforcing brace on the cabin side of the firewall, which didn't allow room for a conventional 2-ear 10-32 nutplate. The largest1-ear nutplate I have is #8 size, so one side has an AN-3 bolt and the other a #8 screw. Furthermore on that side I had to put the pulled rivets in from the cabin side, so the "shop" head projects on the engine side of the FW....necessitating 2 standoffs for the MAP sensor. The fun of building.

In the end the sensor is secured, and thanks to Lars and his donation of a number of plastic lines and fittings, I made a Y to feed a separate line into the cabin for the Light Speed ignition modules, which also want a MAP reading.
