We noticed a few weeks ago that after attaching the canopy to the frame with screws, the canopy lock didn't work...the catches were far to tight. To investigate the cause I removed both catches and the forward fuselage skin, and found the two stop bolts I had installed were a bit too tight. I adjusted those backward, and now the canopy rested more easily on the fuse, but the catches were still too tight. I began enlarging the upper portion of each bolt hole to allow them to slide down just a bit farther.
