Continue canopy-related work. Riveted the C-712 canopy latch angles to fuselage. Drilled a hole in the main spar bulkhead for the C-616 wire core. Installed all parts for the canopy latch (except for the UHMW tape on the angles).
Went to airport where my finishing kit crate is and dug around in the crate to find the WD-617 Canopy Latch. Enlarged the oval holes a bit in the F-705 bulkheads so the latch would fit better. Deburred the ends of the WD-617 so those would fit better in the C-611 bearing blocks, fitted everything to the fuselage, drilled a bit to mark holes in the bearing blocks, then removed everything and finished the drilling on the drill press.
