Brief Description: Finished riveting fwd sub-assy to fuse, cut slots
Finished riveting the forward sub-assy to fuselage. Taped on the canopy latch hole pattern and cut slots and drilled holes. Came out pretty good: drilled two pairs of holes using #30 drill per instructions, then cut slot with Dremel cutting disk (short slot) and air tool cutting wheel (longer slot). Enlarge a bit with hand file, made even with air tool oscillating file, finished with hand files, emery paper, #400 sandpaper, and ScotchBrite pads.
Also straightened C-607 Latch Handle and deburred C-607 and C-609.
