Brief Description:  Assembled fwd assy on fuselage

Assembled the forward fuselage sub-assembly and cleco'd to fuselage. Notice two problems: there's a channel pop-riveted across the two upper F-902s in the QB fuselage. I removed it but cannot find any mention or even part number for it in the plans, and can't see how it's supposed to fit into the sub-assy. 2nd, the F-745L rib attaches to the instrument panel with screws and nutplates and lands right in the middle of the 10" Dynon Skyview I want there (see photo 1). A guy on VAF says he moved his rib but that's a lot of movement. Spent lots of time looking through drawings and puzzling over crap.

Follow-up: Query to VAF about the odd extra channel, responses say it's a shipping brace. I'll use it to further brace the instrument panel after moving the F-745L rib.

Cut the clearance gaps in the F-697 channel. Made the C-620 bearing block.
