Warm day, so first I washed (with the last of my Tomar, a wonderful aircraft cleaner better than Extreme Simple Green but no longer made), rinsed (multiple times with softened water, then twice with distilled) the fuse interior from spar to firewall. This is in preparation for priming with a self-etching primer.
Then washed a number of individual Al pieces with Alumiprep, rinsing with the hose and distilled water. Primed with yellow zinc-chromate. Haven't had great luck with this method in the past, enamel doesn't stick firmly.
