Brief Description:  Riveted nutplates to lamp bracket

Riveted nutplates to the lamp bracket for the right wing Duckworks incandescent landing light.

Why 1.5 hours? Glad you asked. This task is not listed in the otherwise complete Duckworks instructions.

- 10 mins to put on the insulated coverall, remember what I was doing, etc.
- 10-15 mins to puzzle it out and question if it's really needed.
- 10 mins to move things around in the garage to get at the bench grinder with the buffing wheels and buff the edges of the lamp retainer plate.
- Another several minutes to realize that the pre-drilled holes for nutplates in the bracket don't fit the retainer screw holes.
- 20+ mins drill out the bracket rivet holes, measure the Al thickness and decide to countersink, put the countersinker in the air drill, countersink two rivet holes, decide that's not for the best, get the pneumatic squeezer, put the dimple dies in that and adjust, and dimple.
- 10 mins to switch out the dimple dies and put in flats to squeeze the 426 rivets for the nutplates
- 20 mins to drill/grind/enlarge the other existing screw hole which needed to move, locate a new rivet hole for the other nutplate, drill new rivet hole, deburr, put in dimple dies for dimpling, switch back flats to squeeze rivets for nutplate.
- 5 mins to vacuum all the Al dust and junk.

Don't know if it adds up to 1.5 hours but that's the idea.
