The canopy was retrieved from its shipping crate and placed on 4 sawhorses. Trimmed the 4 edges removing the obvious mold stuff...about 2-3 inches. Used a Dremel cutting wheel, and air tool cutting wheel, and the Harbor Freight Oscillating Multifunction Power Tool. Least messy was the HF tool, fastest was air tool. Then sanded/deburred the edges with a ScotchBrite blue pad on an air tool. Damn messy business to cut and deburr. Put the canopy back on the fuse for fitting.
