Brief Description:  rudder work

Not much substantial today, but when you consider it, is any work on the airplane more important than another? Match drilling and deburring can be tedious and time consuming, but they will keep you alive. Every act of construction has to occur, whether it is refiling a part or attaching the horizontal stab. Had no intention of writing this, it kind of spilled out.

Still waiting on rivets, and now I need to order fluting pliers and hand seamer to straighten and sqare ribs in rudder. So to get something (anything) accomplished I edge deburred R-606,607,608PP, R-902,912,904,903, and R-405PD, using bench grinder and Scotchbrite.

I'd seen cleco holders online, and read they are useful for one-handing them, especially with a pneumatic cleco plier. So with some down time I made my own. Just marked off a 3/4" grid on scrap 2x4 and drilled with #40 and #30. I think it does make the job go faster. You can grab the cleco with one hand while the other holds the parts. 3/4" spacing might be too close for air cleco tool.
