Brief Description:  rudder skin stiffeners

Read many builder logs talking about using a band saw to cut parts. Looked around for a benchtop bandsaw, most around $130 or so. Find out my next door neighbor (who is happily supervising the build) has a band saw collecting dust in his shop. We agree it is not worth moving the saw, and I am given unfettered access to it through the basement door (when they are home, so thieves need not apply).

I test the saw blade with a piece of scrap, Not remotely close. Check the forums, and find a suitable blade. I spend a couple of hours driving to the 3 local big box stores looking for said blade to no avail. Realize I could have had just cut the stiffeners with snips and had them deburred by now instead of wasting time (this is all for the tapered trailing edges), which is what I did.

Ended up finding blade at Sears for $17. Here is a link:
