Brief Description:

Completely deburred all holes and edges of left HS skin. I bought a Ryobi electric screwdriver for deburring round holes, along with a single flute hex shank deburring bit. Been using them throughout the build, and am very happy with it. Good battery life and 3 LED lights. Got it at Home Depot for 39 bucks. Actually, I started out using random drill bits to debur by hand, but it quickly becomes ridiculous. The other nice thing about the debur bit is it is shorter than any drill bit of equivalent diameter, allowing manual deburring in tight spaces where the screwdriver or a drill bit won't fit.

Never even considered deburring the skin edges with the bench grinder. The skin is too unwieldy and flexible. Tried a Scotchbrite wheel for the drill, but the same story. Ended up going old school with a file. I set the skin on a rug in front of the fixed garage bench. The light hitting the edge made it easy to see all cut marks. All I had to do was file until the bright metal became dark, and the piece was smooth. Filed the edges at 45 degrees, then followed with medium emery cloth, then a 320 grit sandiing sponge. Like butter... Sounds like a lot of time, but not bad.
