While I was addressing the canopy I also took a good look at places it would rub the paint off. I made a chafe strip out of 2324 and riveted it to the fuselage. I will probably put clear packing tape on it to protect the paint. Now the aft canopy frame rest on the strip instead of rubbing on the fuselage. I also used some foam tape in a few places to protect the paint.
