I now have about 60 hours on the airplane and have found where improvments need to be made. Number one is the canopy, two the wheel pants and three the elevator bungee. I will cover the mods in their sectons. For the canopy the biggest problem is removing it. Rans came up with some taller angles to allow enough room to put in bolts as opposed to counter sunk screws which would allow removing, but I didn't like that the interior and seats would have to be removed to provide acess to the nuts on the bolts. I decided to try something I was looking at during the build. I built new capture strips but ended them just aft of the last screw holding on the canopyThen added a separate piece which rivets on. Now I can remove 10 screws from the outside and remove the canopy.
