Today I closed up the right elevator by using the blind rivets called for in the plans. I also completed riveting the skins to the forward and rear spars.
Finally I cut out all of the foam stiffeners that will be used in the right and left elevators and trim tabs. It wasn't that bad of of a process. I simply used some 3M spray adhesive to glue the templates against the foam blocks. Then I cut the blocks with a band saw and dressed them up a bit with some sandpaper.
I used pro-seal to glue the trailing edge of the right elevator together. To keep it straight, I cleco'd it directly to a piece of angle iron. Then I clamped a piece of aluminum angle to the top of it.
