We spent a couple of nights camping at Lake Limestone, before heading back into town early this AM. As soon as I unloaded the truck, it was back to work on the plane.
I had just finished cleaning all the parts with DX-330 when my dad drove up.
He was around when I started shooting primer and he made a pretty good helper at moving parts as I sprayed them.
They're all done now.
I actually reversed the dimpling / priming steps. This time around, I am going to dimple after the primer has cured. I've tested this on a few scrap pieces and it's worked pretty well. If I end up cracking the primer (haven't done it yet in my tests) I can touch them up with an airbrush and primer.
HS parts, primed and ready to go. Spars laying behind the table. Skins are standing in background.
