Brief Description: Removing Rudder Skins and Deburring
Today I removed the skins and partially disassembled the rudder. I'm deburring each component as it's removed from the assembly.
Deburring is tedious - but necessary.
I dimpled the rudder skins and also countersunk the rudder trailing edge. For those of you countersinking the TE, you can use a spare piece of TE material to square up the TE on your drill press. Make sure your countersink isn't too deep. This is a very thin piece of metal and it's countersunk from both sides. If you're not careful t's very easy to have a hole that is too large.
