Brief Description:  Anchored and wired compressor

I spent half the day with my wife out shopping for shop supplies. When I got home, I drilled the holes in the concrete for the wedge anchors. I had a hard time with this. My 17 year old DeWalt cordless hammer drill was not what it used to be. I eventually got all three holes drilled. The holes are upposed to be 5” deep but 4.75 inches was good enough for me.

I also wired the compressor. I used 12 awg wire and connected to a 240 volt outlet with 25 amp breakers my father in law and I had wired to the panel about a year ago when I was anticipating the need for this project.

It is now midnight and I really wanted to fire up the compressor and break it in for 30 minutes. Since I did not know how loud it was, I decided not to wake up the neighbors. Will fire it up in the morning.
