TodayI purchased an air compressor for the aircraft shop. I spent alot of time reading on Vans Airforce about the thoughts and opinions of other builders regarding air compressors. I ultimatly decided to by the Kobalt 60 gallon model from Lowes aircraft supply. I used my veterans 10 percent discount to save $50 bucks.
Many builders have succesfully completed their kits with much smaller compressors. I wanted a compresser that would run the majority of my tools without having to cycle on and off continuously. In addition, since I am working in my basement, I want to keep noise to a minimum. I read the reviews on lowes website and the majority of reviews were positive. For the price, I think this compressor will work great!
